Review Process
Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang implements a rigorous review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the articles it publishes. This process consists of several stages designed to provide valuable feedback to authors and maintain high academic standards. The review process is as follows:
Initial Submission Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is initially reviewed by the editorial team to verify its relevance to the scope of Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang , compliance with submission guidelines, and adherence to ethical standards, including plagiarism checks. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for revision before further consideration.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang uses a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This approach ensures an objective evaluation of the manuscript based solely on its content and scholarly merit.
Reviewer Feedback
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field. They provide detailed feedback, including suggestions for improvement, and recommend one of the following outcomes:
- Accept: The manuscript is ready for publication as is or with minor revisions.
- Minor Revision: The manuscript requires minor changes before it can be accepted.
- Major Revision: Substantial changes are needed, and the manuscript will be reconsidered after revision.
- Reject: The manuscript does not meet publication standards and will not be considered further.
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations and feedback, the editor makes the final decision regarding the manuscript. The possible outcomes are:
- Accept Submission: The manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript requires further revision before it can be accepted.
- Reject Submission: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang.
Authors will be informed of the editorial decision and, if applicable, provided with reviewer comments to aid in their revisions.
Revision Stage
If revisions are required, authors are given the opportunity to make the necessary changes and resubmit the manuscript. The revised manuscript must include responses to each reviewer comment, detailing the adjustments made. The revised version will then be re-evaluated by the editorial team and, if necessary, sent for a second round of review by the same or new reviewers.
Final Acceptance and Copyediting
Once the manuscript meets all standards, it is accepted for publication. It will then undergo copyediting to ensure clarity, consistency, and conformity with the journal’s formatting requirements.
Publication
Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue of Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang. Authors will be notified of the expected publication date and will receive page proofs for final approval before the article is published both online and in print.
Through this review process, Jurnal Kesehatan Manarang is committed to publishing high-quality, impactful research that adheres to strict academic and ethical standards.
