Authors Guideline
Authors are expected to submit articles by fulfilling the following requirements:
- Manuscripts sent to the editors have never been published or are not being submitted for publication in print media or other scientific journals.
- Manuscripts are typed on a computer, using Microsoft Word typed with 1 spacing, using Times New Roman font size 11, left and right margins of 2.5 cm, top and bottom margins of 2.5 cm, on A4 paper, and given a page number in the middle of the bottom, according to the Malakbi Midwifery Journal manuscript template.
- The author's name (not attached with title) is written under the title.
- Manuscripts are written in Indonesian complete with a structured abstract in Indonesian and English (250 - 300 words), 3 - 5 keywords. The abstract is listed under the author's name. The abstract components consist of Background, Objective, Method, Result, and Conclusion.
- The manuscript consists of Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions and Bibliography.
- Writing a bibliography refers to the American Psychological Association (APA) style using Mendeley reference management, author names and year of publication in alphabetical order of appearance based on the author's name.
- Tables must be given a title and sufficient description and the table title is placed above the table.
- The author registers to get a username and password, and makes a submission.
- The author uploads the manuscript, the Author Ethics Statement Form, and the results of the plagiarism check (using iThenticate or Turnitin).
- Review conducted by peer reviewers from outside the journal institution with areas of expertise relevant to the article, Review by editors from within the journal institution, with the result being an "Editor Decision".
- After receiving the decision "Accept Submission", the article will enter the "Editing" stage to be continued to the "Scheduling" stage to be published in a certain volume and number.
- Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned, except at your own request by submitting a letter of request to withdraw the manuscript.
- Research involving living things as research subjects must include Ethical Clearance (EC)
