Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are expected to submit articles that meet the following requirements:

  1. The manuscript sent to the editor has never been published or is not being submitted for publication in print media or other scientific journals.

  2. Manuscripts in the form of computer typing, using Microsoft Word typed with 1 space, using Times New Roman font size 11, left edge and right edge 2.5 cm, top and bottom edges 2.5 cm, manuscript thickness 4 - 7 pages on A4 paper, and given a page number at the bottom center.

  3. The manuscript should be written in Indonesian with a structured abstract in English and Indonesian (250-300 words), 2-5 key words. The abstract is listed below the author's name. The abstract component consists of Background, Objective, Method, Result, and Conclusion.

  4. The manuscript consists of subtitles Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions and Bibliography.
  5. The author's name (without title) is written below the title.
  6. Writing a bibliography refers to APA style using reference management such as Mendeley, author's name and year of publication with the order of appearance based on the author's name alphabetically, the number of references used is at least 20 recent references from journals in the last 5 years and text books in the last 10 years.
  7. Tables must be titled and captioned sufficiently and the table title placed above the table.
  8. Must be registered online, after the author has registered to get a username and password.
  9. Review by peer reviewers from outside the journal institution with expertise relevant to the article, Review by editors from within the journal institution, with the result in the form of "Decision (Editor Decision)".
  10. After receiving an "Accept Submission" decision, the article will enter the "editing" stage to continue to the "scheduling" stage to be published in a certain volume and number.
  11. Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned, except at their own request.
  12. Research involving living beings as research subjects must include Ethical Clearance (EC).
